Nissan Repair: engine misfire, fuel pressure regulator, pressurization system

Hi there Von, hope you can help, i have a problem with my nissan largo 2ltr turbo diesel, the problem i am having is the engine is misfiring. PLEASE HELP!

The following are the items I look for when working with a diesel that is exhibiting a misfire.

Bad fuel (contaminated or water in the diesel)

Plugged fuel filter

Defective fuel pressure regulator

Fuel treatment for diesel is always a welcome addition.

Since yours has a turbo you need to check for the waste gate being stuck open or the turbo pressurization system and even the turbo itself as being worn or defective.  Also, make sure the air inlet/filter are in good order.
