Chrysler Repair: electric radiator fan, radiator fan, fan motor

Question
i have a 92 labaron 3.0 liter. the electric fan does not com on.i have traced 12 volts to the plug at the fan (i have power ther)does this mean that i should buy a new fan motor (150.00) now or is ther anything else i conb do before i spend this money.      thanks     jerry

Hi Jerry,
The light green wire on the fan plug is supposed to get 12V from the fan relay, and the black wire is supposed to be grounded. If you verify the ground of the black wire and that the plug connector and the wires to the motor aren't  broken then it looks like you will need a new motor. You could do a direct jump from the battery to the fan motor plug just to make sure.
