I used the panic button and when I tried to start the car it wouldn't start.  Help?
I have a 2002 Chrysler Town and Country with a 3.3
engine. I have never had a problem and never used the panic button until yesterday when I accidently set it off.  I shut it down by putting the key in the ignition.

Hi Ken.
I must be very out of date. What is a panic button?
Roland

Hi Roland:

Thanks for the quick response.  The panic button is located on
the transmitter that unlocks, locks and open the doors.  The panic
button is on that transmitter.  I spent a few hours trying to figure
out why the car wouldn't start.  I read the manual and it explained
that the transmitter should be re=programmed. I did that but it still
\wouldn't start.  So I left it and in the morning I tried starting
the van and it started.  I have a feeling that all of my friends helped
me flood the engine and by morning it was dry and ready to start.

Thanks again for your quick response.

Answer
Hi Ken,
Thanks for responding. I take it that the panic button is essentially a remote starter button which similar modern cars now have. I was unaware that Chrysler had added that to its security system. I am glad that your van is back and serving you.
