Land Rover Repair: starting problem on 95 disco, air flow meter, vacuum hose

Question
the engine was cranking but it won't continue to start. I change the coil, sprkplugs and the wire, also the vacuum hose.i also check the fuel pressure and it seems ok.what do u think is causing this problem??i can use some help from the experts...

Answer
A failure to start could be caused by bad wiring from the coil to ecu, a bad ecu, a bad ignition trigger or amp, a bad air flow meter . . .

Changing parts in hopes you hit it will be very expensive.

I sugest you find a qualified shop that can perform the step by step procedures in the Land Rover workshop manual. You can access the manuals yourself for a small fee at www.landrovertechinfo.com and you can look at a list of shops at www.rangerovers.net
