Chrysler Repair: loss of power while operating 1994 T&C van, fuel pump relay, relay breakdown

Question
Hi Roland:  K.J. back again to give you further information regarding the power cutting out on my van.  BTW, thanks for replying so quickly to my first post. The loss of power happens more often when the engine is warmed up and can happen on the freeways or city streets.  Sometimes 3-5 times in succession.  There is no idling problem, but the loss of power has happened at stops too.  Usually, my van jerks forcefully a few times before it begins to lose power during episodes.  It can get scary sometimes.  When power is lost I can put the van in neutral while on the road and it will start easily.  I just got the van home today from the dealership.  They could not find a problem and the van did not act up for them.  My 1994 Chrys. Town & Country van has a 3.8L V6 engine.  There are no fault codes.  The dealership checked for them and I did so again when I got the van home today.  It just flashes 5-5.  Any more thoughts on this puzzle?

Answer
Another couple of ideas:
Relays are not very expensive, comparted to spark coils for example or MAP sensors, so you might want to consider investing in a relay to replace the autoshutdown relay in the power distribution center (it may be labelled, but if not try position #3) and if that doesn't fix things, then put the old relay back and if the ASD relay and the fuel pump relay (position #6) have the same part number then substitute the new relay for the fuel pump relay and see if that solves the problem. There are no codes for relay breakdown and it sure seems like this is electrical in nature.
