Question -
Car idles fine in park.  When you put it in drive it idles rough and going down the road it does fine until you brake and accelerate then the engine hesitates also going up hill but it idles fine in park.  Could this be a vaccum hose problem.  Car has new spark plugs and wires and sprayed throttle body cleaner into air intake

first check the timeing abd timeing belt it could have sliped a tooh pete

Pete,  I also wanted to tell you that it doesn't idle rough when it the engine is cold.  It only idles rough after the engine is warmed up.

this could be the timeing like i said . Here is what i think you should do just to be safe is get a diagnostiac test . I know it will cost a littie more but it will be a one time deal . and then we will not be pulling are hair out with replaceing things what will not help .
