Chrysler Repair: How to replace FWD front axel with rebuilt., postal mail, torque wrench

Question
What are the 'remove and replace' steps for front axel with rebuilt units on '94 LeBaron V6 with automatic transmission? Any 'special tools' necessary?

Answer
Hi Morris,
The steps are several in number and so I'm offering to xerox the 4 pages from my '94 shop manual and mail them to you. The illustrations are also helpful. Sorry I don't have a scanner to send this electronically, but I'll cover the copies and postage stamp. Just reply giving a postal mail address unless this is time-critical, in which case I'll 'type' you in a set of instructions. Let me know either way.
The process is not that difficult. To do it accurately it is desireable to have a torque wrench to tighten the various fittings to spec. A very important procedural step when you do the passenger side half shaft is to remove the speed sensor (located on top of the transaxle housing into which the half shafts are inserted) otherwise you will damage it. It is held in place by a single bolt, but if you overlook this, ouch!
