Chrysler Repair: LeBaron Convertable 1990 electric fan and air conditioning troubles, side kick panel, forward wheel

Question
Hi Roland,
I love my car! However, it has been causing me some grief as of late. I have installed a larger throttle body (52mm vs 48mm), a K&N air filter, and replumbed the air intake for colder air. Computer in original air intake is in stock position bolted to drivers side forward wheel well. I had some trouble with the car not starting and the mechanic traced/fixed an orange fusible link (wire) behind the battery. All was working well.
My ride is a 1990 LeBaron convertable (3.0L 4sp auto)and has failures with the cooling system/electric fan and the air conditioning.
First the fan. The heat in the car was getting cold one day, and I noticed the fan stayed on constantly and remained on after I shut off the ignition. After 30mins, I disconnected the fan as it was apparent that the motor was not going to stop on it's own. The motor was very cool by this time. When I reconnected the fan, I noticed that it would not run at all and the car now overheats in slow traffic, and generally runs hotter. The timing is spot on, the water in the raditator is topped up with antifreeze at 50%. I tested the fan motor by itself and it works fine. The fuse is functiong. I tried disconnecting the temp sensor with the engine running, and the fan did not start...any ideas?

Coincidently, at about the same time as I had this overheating incident, my AC will not engage when I press the button, and it was working perfectly with cold air before. I have tried putting the temp control in every position, and the clutch on the AC pump will not engage.

Not wanting to take all your time, but is there a way of obtaining a schematic of the relays located under the drivers side kick panel? I have not found one in "Haynes repair guide" and I have a nasty suspicion that the previous owner was playing with them.(he alluded to this!. I don't know which space on the ciruit board corresponds with the job the relay was intended for.

Any help with any topic here would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
Hi Rick,
Thanks for the generous evaluation. I'll do the copies tomorrow and mail them to you. The location of the fan relay is not in the relay block inside the cabin, but rather under the hood in the engine compartment. The inner fender is basically, the outside wall of the compartment, in this case the wall adjacent to the left front wheel. If you look on the wall you will see three relays in a row and also a relay on the strut tower. The third one from the front which makes it the closest to the firewall of those 3 is the fan relay. The relays in order from front to back are: autoshutdown, A/C clutch circuit, fan relay. The single relay on the strut tower (around the corner as it were) is the starter motor relay.
