Chrysler Repair: radio programming, radio clock, turn on the radio

Question
I have a 1989 New Yourker Landau and cannot seem to change the radio/clock to the correct time. I do not have any buttons marked hour / minute so I'm assuming there is another way. thanks for your help.

wrong time glenn

Answer
Hi Glenn,
Here is the instruction for setting the time:
Turn on the radio, if a radiofrequency is displayed then press the SEL button to display the time
Press the SET button and "p" will appear on the display
Within 5 seconds press the SEL button and hours and a flashing colon will appear.
Rotate the tuning knob oneway or the other to bring up the correct hour
Press the SEL again and the minutes will be displayed and turn the tuning knob to the correct minutes
Press the SEL button again to restart the clock.

If you have the higher price radio which doesn't have a tuning knob, then press tune + or tune - to change the time

Let me know if this doesn't work for you. The other way to set the clock correctly is to disconnect the battery and then reconect it 12 o'clock, because the clock always start at 12:00.
