I was seeing what purpose was for.thought was for someone to be able to see walk way after dark then switch them off by a timer? thank you I'm new and frustrated to these computerized cars.

Answer
You have to have the tools for the job !!The only way to see
why that coil has no "fire" is to scan the engine computer
.the scan tool tells the tech. what is working and what is not,It will also tell the tech.what went wrong the last time
the engine was running.Or you could do it the "FORD" way
"replace with a known good part" Good-day.tm
