Chrysler Repair: Car Wont Start, chrysler intrepid, battery cables

Question
My 96 Chrysler Intrepid runs pretty well. Its got about 300,000 kms on it and needs alittle work every now and then. Recently I went out to get some groceries and it ran fine. Then got back in the car with my food and it won't start. It goes 'click click"...lights all go on...power is not a problem. Is this the starter or what is it? and how much does it cost to replace. Right now its in my driveway..
Thanks
John

Answer
John,it sounds like the starter needs the" selenoid" replaced. If you have a local"starter/alternator"shop,
they could do the job"very easy repair"for about 100$.
Make shure you have clean battery cables, but, this is a comon repair.Let me know if this helps. tm.
