Steering Column Repair: 1997 s-10 ignition cylinder, steering column repair, chevrolet oldsmobile

I have a 97 s-10.  the key cylinder will not turn at all.  I know it needs to be replaced but I cannot remove the old one.  I have the top and bottom covers off but cannot get to the screws to take the steering wheel off.  Any help would be great

Lastly, I would have a new lock cylinder in hand before you begin, to see what you are working on (hidden in the column) and accomplish finishing this job quickly.
