One other question. The drivers side window in my wifes car will not go up or down. I can hear the motor run when I use the button, but nothing. Is that run by a cable or what? What do I need to replace. Thanks...Marty

My wife owns a 1992 Chrysler New Yorker 4 door, 3.3 fuel Inj. Any way the gauges on the dash and the display read out thing, that shows temp, fule mileage, monitored systems etc. keeps blacoing out. When you first start the car the guges and everything works and then when you take off everything goes blank. The head lights and turning signals work, but not the gauges. A mechanic thoiught maybe it was a dead spot in the ignition switch, or some kind of cluster board might be going out, . All i know hard to tell how much gas or especially how fast your going with no gauges working..Any ideas on what it might be? Thank you..

try reseting the compuiter by takeing off the pos. cable for one min the compuiter lost mem. if does not work take it to the dealler they will reset it 45 dollors pete

you will have to take the door panel off you will see the motor it as a slide bar which as to pullys on motor the slide bars could have sliped off . check it and let me know it is a easy fix . u might havt replace the slide bar which goes in to track of window good luck to u marty if u need more help let me know pete
