Chrysler Repair: cooling system on LHS 94, engine temp, water pump

have just replaced thermostat on "94" LHS and the engine temp still climbs to hot and steam comes out of overflow...no water pump noise,and the hoses were replaced a year ago with no cooling history problems,,could the water pump be bad and i just dont know it?

first check the rad. to see if pluged start the car let get warm . and then feel the botton of the rad. to see if cold and if the top is hot then it is pluged. then replace and will be fine . if ok then yes the water pumping is not cir. anough pete good luck to you
