Classic/Antique Car Repair: sticky wheel, Jaguar, Rolls-Royce

Question
About a month ago I cleaned the interior of my 2004 Corvette. I used Mc Guires (as I have for years) all surface interior cleaner on ALL of the interior. The steering wheel center section has remained sticky/tacky since then. I have tried many, many solutions to get rid of the sticky problem without sucess. Can you help?   thanks,

Answer
Hello Ernie and Debbie,

Thanks for contacting us...but I think you may have accidentally selected the wrong category...I do appreciate you asking me a question, however that is NOT in my area expertise.

BUT my first thought would be to contact Mc Guires...they certainly would be the ones who could help you.  After all, it is their product...and they should have a solution for you....

Anyway, the category I have volunteered to answer questions that relate to “Automotive Wooden Interior Trim” - specifically the “Real” wood trim parts found in Jaguars, Mercedes-Benz, Rolls-Royce, Bentleys, BMWs, Jensen Healeys, Austin Healeys, Triumphs - etc. etc. etc.

Should you or any of your fellow automotive enthusiasts have interior wood trim in their vehicles....and IF that wood is having trouble.....I can help.

Thank you.

(I would appreciate you taking the time to Rate my response....thanks)
