Classic/Antique Car Repair: blinkers, ford country squire, woody station wagon

good morning
I have a 1955 ford country squire woody station wagon. my blinkers have stopped working. I have power going to the flasher but it is dead from there. my brakes lights are working. any suggestions.

With the key on and the directional switch in the straight ahead position there should be power to both sides of the flasher if it is a two wire flasher and to two terminals if it is a three wire flasher. So, if you only have a voltage reading on one side of the flasher it indicates a bad flasher.
