Classic/Antique Car Repair: wiring schematic for fuel gauge, 1969 ford ranchero, fuel gauge

Hello, we have a 1969 Ford Ranchero and the wiring for the fuel gauge is gone. Our mechanic asked me to locate a wiring schematic for him so he can rewire it. Would you have any information on rewiring the gauge or do you know where I might find some.

Wiring diagrams and repair procedures are usually found in shop manuals which can be found either online or on ebay. You might question the expense for just this one problem but if you're keeping the car, a shop manual will prove valuable time and time again.
