Classic/Antique Car Repair: Fuel pump replaceement 1965 Thunderbird 390 cu in, air conditioning compressor, fuel pump

Question
Does the powersteering pump and air conditioner need to come off in order to get at the mounting bolts for the fuel pump?

Answer
According to all of my service manuals, including a factory manual, there is no mention of taking the power steering or the air conditioning compressor off the car to reach the fuel pump. I recently did a timing chain job on a 61 Bird with the 390 and did not need to disturbed the A/C or PS except for a few brackets to slide the timing case out. And I removed the fuel pump first. I did use a flex socket (one with a universal joint in it) and an extension to reach the bolts.
