Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1968 beetle horn issues, gas gauge, head lamps

Question
Where exactly is the horn located on a '68?  On early models there's little grills that have the horn behind, but a 68 has no "grills".  Not sure if mines gone or I just can't find it.  I'm not a complete idiot about electrical (Recently replaced Wiper motors and Gas gauge) and have found some info & understand the circuit (As long as my steering column is insulated from other contacts) But Need a little more detail as to how to trace the circuit components.  I have NO wire coming out of the steering column (Which gives me a BAD feeling about what might have to happen to make one appear there!) so I'm pretty sure some serious work is going to have to go into this Herbie to make him "Beep"

Answer
Phil, I have no idea where the horn is.  I will take a look on the net to see if I can find any info and let you know.

Phil, the 1964 had the horns mounted just below the head lamps and a little inboard of the lamps.  There are two small oval grilles that let the sound out.  Your 1968 may be similar.  Still working on it.

Phil, the horn was only on the left side.  The right side was just a dummy.  Look at this video.
