I am trying to help a great customer make his 1950 f100 pick up a Sunday driver.I am looking for a place to order a front disk brake set up.I have a few call in but i am getting mix answers.One place asked me to try his OEM wheel over a new ford pick up.Another one tell me i will not need a brake proportion valve.I have done this on other customer car with great out come.What i am trying to do is put dis on the front leave drums brakes on the rear.Put a non power dual master cylinder with a proportion valve. I know that there must be some one out there that can help.

This isn't a common upgrade for your Ford because most systems use Power Brakes and flatheads don't have a particularly high vacuum. Regarding preportioning valve, I'm not aware of any disc/drum systems that are engineered without one.
Taking as look a look at a number of Ford forums, it looks like Engineered Componets has a kit for your truck. Although I can't recommend this vendor from personal experiece, I am familiar with the name and it seems to be reputable. Check out the following page from their catalog for your start. Note that these kits may use a variety of used and/or non-Ford components....if you decide on one, call them and discuss. I also attached other listings for Ford brake conversions in the hopes that you can piece together a system if their "canned" system doesn't suit for some reason.
