Question
I have a 1954 chevy pick-up. I removed the front windshield and am trying to put a new one. For the life of me i am having trouble trying to replace it back on. I have been trying to find how to books or dvds that would help me install it. If by any chance you know how to install it I would deeply appreciate ur input. Or if you would be able to tell me where I could get any kind of help. thank you looking to hear from you.

Answer
Place the rubber gasket in the opening in the trucks cab. Then wrap a long peice of twine around the gasket seated in the groove. Set the glass in the groove where the ends of the twine are and then gently pull the twine and it will distort the gasket and the glass will slip into the groove. But be carefull.
