Question
I have 1964 dodge 383cu.in.replaced alternator, & battery, voltage regulator, I'm still not charging.have any ideas as to what I can do to resolve this problem?  I'm pulling my hair out at this point. Thanks,Robert

Answer
Diagnosing a problem like this takes experience and some test equipment - if you just keep throwing new parts at it, it will only waste your money.

Take the car to an "Auto-Zone" store and ask them to diagnose it for you. There will be no charge for the testing, and they should be able to find the cause.  If there is no Auto-Zone near you, call around to the other auto parts places - most others provide this service also.

If you want to try to troubleshoot this yourself, and you want my help, I need to know how you determined that it is not charging - be precise and tell me exactly what happens and how long it takes for the battery to go down.  I might be able to narrow down the list of possible causes for you, but since I cannot be there with my test equipment, it is a better idea for you to get help locally.
