BMW Repair: Clutch pedal, clutch cylinder, clutch pedal

Question
I'm occasionally getting a pulsating feel when I depress the clutch.  Right now, it just feels funny and it does not happen all the time.  Is this the early sign of a clutch failure?

It sounds like something in the clutch area is bent but the fact that it's only sporadic makes me think that it's master or slave clutch cylinder related, check the lines and be sure they aren't leaking

I'm quite puzzled by the fact that it only sometimes pulsates this is a problem that i would have to see firsthand to diagnose.
