Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1963 ford galaxy overdrive wireing, ford galaxy, dave blake

do you know what the proper wiring configuration is for my car. it has overdrive but the wires werent hooked up when the transmission was repaired and i dont want to mess anything up. thanks dave blake

Under the car there should be one connection to the governor on the overdrive case and two to the solenoid. The wire from the harness that is color coded white should connect to the yellow wire that comes from the governor. A blue with a orange band connects to the orange wire from the solenoid and the blue wire from the harness connects to the blue wire from the solenoid. Both the white and the blue with an orange band are 18 gage wires meaning thin. The blue wire is a 14 gage meaning it is thicker.
