If a man u did not know brought u a car to restore and the restoration cost more than the car is worth would u volunteer this information with him?

Absolutely! His reason for restoration maybe sentimental and not appreciation value. In either case, he should know what he is getting into. It's the fair and honest thing to do. I would pay more to get a retored version of my first car if I could find one!
