Classic/Antique Car Repair: 67 mustang upper ball joint, auto repair manual, upper control arm

what is the procedure you would do to replace the upper ball joints for a 67 mustang.they are four bolt not riveted so i think they have been replaced before.thank you

Get a manual for this car. The upper control arm needs to be supported before the big nut on the ball joint is removed to prevent the spring from coming out and slapping you in the face. A Motor's Auto repair manual will give the proceedure and they are available on E bay.
