Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1966 Chevy Impala Sedan, glass fuses, chevy impala

Question
My buddy just purchased a 1966 Chevy Impala 4-dr.  We are currently trying to change from the glass fuses, to the newwer blades.  The old fuse box was rusty, corroded and just in bad shape.  We went down to the nearest auto zone and purchesed a Buss6 terminal fuse box.  Its small compact and we thought would do the trick.  My first question is is this even possible and if so HOW???  There are a total of 13 wires, 6 pairs and 1 ground wire.  The new fuse box had a large screw which distributes to the 6 terminals ( pig clips).  we have gotten each compliment color and attached them all to the screw and ran the compliments to the terminals via pig clips.  we tried turning it on, and nothing.  your insight is greatly appretiacited.

Answer
First of all, the inputs are individual: some straight 12V, some keyed, some ignition, some starter only, etc. You cannot group rhe supplies together. Lucky you didn't have a fire.

You must route each individually. Don't know how much the box was, but you can do it with 2 boxes ran in to out and out to in with one just having jumper fuses.
