Mr. Sears...I would like to know what the points gap would be on the 170 in the Econoline I have, also sparkplug gap and numbers/info on setting the timing....Thank you sir for your time....if there is anything i can do for you, plz contact me, Sincerely, Andy Day

The spark plugs are Champion F14-Y set at .034". The points are set at .025" and the timing is 4 degrees before top dead center for a standard transmission and 10 degrees on an automatic. Idle speed for the standard is 500 RPM and 485 in drive on the automatic. The firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4.
