Question
i have a 1947 ford coup i can not find the firering order it is a flathead v8 engine .i think it is inbetween a 160 t0 a 190 ci.it has a six pack for carbs .can u help ne .thank u steve.

Answer
Ford flat head engines used 1-5-4-8-6-3-7-2 as a firing order. Number one cylinder is the first one on the passengers (right) side and the cylinders on that bank are numbered 1-2-3-4 and the drivers side is 5-6-7-8. Good luck.

I have a 1941 Ford coupe that sounds like yours.
