Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1962 Chevrolet Impala Supersport Turn Signal, impala supersport, chevrolet impala

I have a 1962 chevrolet implala supersport...my turn signal will flash but not return to neutral...I have taken the steering wheel off and there appears to be something missing...please provide schematic and/or part numbers if possible...I thank you for any help

I am a Model A guy and I don't have info on your car.  I'm sure there is a plastic part broken in your mechanism.  That's what usually happens.  Get a service manual and it will show you the picture of what should be there.  Also, find a chevy car  club and join it.  They will have all the answers and be happy to help.  
You can also get the part from a junk yard, but you will probably have to take it apart to get to it.  I'm sure there are suppliers out there who have the part you need.  Find them and ask them.  They will know.  There are a lot of '62 chevy's out there, so I'm sure there are parts suppliers.
