Answer
You may have combustion products getting into the water jacket.  With the cap off, rev the engine and see if you get any bubbles.  If you do, then you have a head gasket prob. or worse.
You are making steam in the engine quickly.  Either the water is not flowing, or it is not getting to the hot spot in the engine.  Blockage in the water jacket???
Pump impeller not turning.  Loose on the shaft???
New radiator got plugged after a few miles.  I did this once, and it turned out I paid $400 for a filter that caught all the crap as soon as I started it up.  Check to see if there is a lot of junk running around in the water jacket.
That about all I can think of.  With a Model A, it's always a plugged rad.  Hope yours is not plugged already.  A hard back flush might help, but they don't do very much most of the time.
Good luck
