Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1988 BMW 3251, heater core, thermostat

Question
Sir:
I have a 1988 325i, it has the bigger 6 cyl. in it, with a a 5 speed manual trans. the thing runs really well. The only thing that is wrong is that when it warms up, there is no heat in the car, it blows cold air. the engine does not overheat. I put a new thermostat in it, and new anti-freeze, and that didn't help. any suggestions?
Thanks
Joe

Answer
I answered this yesterday but I believe the computer dropped it before it was sent.

Sounds like your heater core is either disconnected or valved off. Check the hoses going to and from the firewall. They should be full and hot with engine warm and running.
