hi dick,i have a 1950 chevy fleetline 236.could you tell me  if other years fuel pump other than the 1950 would work on the 235 motor.i have the glasstop fuel pump one now that went bad on me and will have to get a reproduction one.         thanks so much

1940 to 1951 use the same fuel pump, and 1952 to 1954 use a different one.  I suggest sending your old one in for rebuild.  

Egge Parts House in Sante Fe Springs CA will rebuild it for you or you can do it yourself with one of their kits (or anyone's kit, for that matter).  Your engine would be either a 216 (or a 235 if it has automatic trans).
