Classic/Antique Car Repair: idle and grinding noise when moving and stopping, wheel bearings, brakes and rotors

Question
yes i have a ford probe 95 se and when i start it it has normal idle but after a few seconds it drops down and stuuters like it wants to stalla i changed the plugs and checked for a vaccum leak and i dont have one also it has a loss of power up hills it revs real high but wont move to fast . And i had new brakes and rotors put on the front but it still has a sound like grinding or something rubbing metal on metal in the front .

Answer
Have you checked the timing? The dropping down below idle is in your choke/idle assembly releasing too soon. Look at the actual linkage and you should be able to adjust this out.

Did you have your wheel bearings checked during your brake job? I believe your rotors don't require someone to look at bearings.
