Classic/Antique Car Repair: Dodge Dart 1969, dodge dart, cold chisel

Question
I am having trouble removing the clips from the front brake hose.  I am replacing the hose and need to get the old hose of the clips.  The brake drums are nine inches.  Any suggestions?

Answer
I assume that you are talking about the clips that hold the end of the hose that is attached to the steel brake lines at the frame end of flex line. These are a spring steel clip that can be removed by tapping it out with a dull cold chisel and a hammer. Don't worry if the clip breaks as they are available at auto stores like NAPA.
