Answer
Jason, here is what I am going to recommend. Take a trip to a Barnes and Noble or another good book store. Spend some time in the Auto section and check out the books on auto restoration and body work. The questions that you have asked are too involved for me to answer in this forum. You are looking at welding, dent removal, painting, and more and books will guide you through. If you were in a school shop I would have recommended the teachers advice. Then I would suggest going to www.books4cars.com and getting the factory manual for your car. It will give you the details of the battery tray and all the body and mechanical parts specific to your car. Good luck and please stay in touch.
