Classic/Antique Car Repair: Fuse in the light switch, buggar, drivers seat

Question
Hi Brad, mine is a 1965 Mustang and my parking and instrument lights are not working. I plan on replacing the light switch. First, is the switch a buggar to get out? Second, should I check the fuse in there first? My manual says the fuse is in there but I did not see any. But then again I have not fully taken the switch out. Thank you Sir.

Answer
Pulling the switch is not that bad a job, however I have been known to remove the four bolts/nuts holding the drivers seat in and removing the seat so that I  could get comfortable while working under the dash. If it is the factory switch there should be a fuse on the switch. There should be a spring loaded button on the top of the switch that will release the knob and shaft. Then the bezel can be removed and the switch should come away from the dash.
