Classic/Antique Car Repair: Choosing the right Carb for 68 Buick 350., stock cam, holleys

Question
I have a 68 Skylark with orginal 350 recently rebuilt.  Bored 20 over just to true it up.  Stock cam.  I would like to replace the stock Rochester 2V with something like a Holley 350/500 2V.  Original carb works okay, but seeking just a little better overall performance.  Any recommendations or suggestions?

Answer
I like your choice. I have ran many of these and have been well pleased.

Be sure and 'float out' the holley when you have it on (instructions come with it).

Also check the throttle leakage "throw". The Holleys can sometimes take much more movement than your old carb did.
