Classic/Antique Car Repair: 86 camaro motor conversion, chevy c20, fuel management

Question
i recently wrecked my 83 chevy C20 that has a new 350 4 bolt and i want to drop that into my 86 camaro. i am wondering if there will be anything other than the flywheel and the belt stuff up front that i need to change.

Answer
Jason, if you are using the computer and electronic controls make sure that the computer matches the engine. If you are using the distributor and fuel management (carburetor/fuel injection) from the truck use the trucks electronics. If both engines are 350's I would use the Camero's electronics and change the fuel and ignition system on the truck engine to the cars components. Most of the problems today is matching the computers to the equipment.
