Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1972 Karmann Ghia, karmann ghia, whole lot

I was given a 1972 karmann ghia as a gift. It has been repainted, new body work and supposedly checked out by a specialist. It started once and will not start again and VW dealership does not know how to fix it. Do you know anyone in Fort Lauderdale who fixes these? Or anyone I can email anywhere.

I don't know of a VW dealership on the planet that wouldn't know how to fix it. They just may not want to work on it. They are vey simple engines and unless you have blown it up, chances are it will run again very easily,
