Classic/Antique Car Repair: Heater core- 1970 Torino, heater hoses, bolt and nut

Question
I have no Idea how to switch out the heater core in my 1970 1/2 Falcon(same as torino). i see that you helped a man with a 74. any help?

Answer
OK, here we go, step by step:
1. Drain cooling system, then disconnect both heater hoses at dash.
2. Unfasten the heater from the dash.
3. Disconnect temperature and defroster cables at heater end.
4. Disconnect wires from resistor and blower motor wires, and clip that holds heater to defroster nozzles,
5. Remove the Glove box.
6. Remove the bolt and nut retaining the right air duct control to the instrument panel.
7. Remove nuts holding right air duct and remove the duct.
8. Take the heater assembly to the work bench and remove the heater core cover and pad and then lift out the core.

I hope it's worth it!
