Classic/Antique Car Repair: 71 chevelle fender replacement, 71 chevelle, shims

I wish to replace the fenders on my 71 chevelle but I am unsure of the full procedure to do so any help would greatly be appreciated?

Be aware there is an inner and outer or fender and liner.

For the most part it is pretty straight forward. There is a row of screws where the hood closes and one at bottom at door and two or three on spider brackets up front down low.

Be aware of shims in the original or that you may need shims in the new one to make in align perfectly.
