Classic/Antique Car Repair: 67 Camaro conver, 67 camaro convertible, hurst shifter

Question
Two Questions
Did a 67 Camaro convertible come with a 350, 3 speed, Hurst shifter?

What is the term for the plastic trim that frames the door panel. I am missing some trim but don't know what it is called. Thanks in advance

Answer
I can answer part of your question.  Yes, the Camaro was available with a 350 engine in 1967.  The engine code for that is MS with manual shift. The engine code is stamped into the block on the front, just below the passenger's side head gasket. The 3 speed manual transmission should be part number 3919349 - it is called a Saginaw type 3 transmission.   I do not have any way to answer your question about the Hurst shifter, but I very much doubt it came from the factory that way.  You need a Camaro expert to answer that, and I'm not that familiar with those cars.  Try one of the other guys on this site - I think some of them are into "modern" cars more than I am.
