Classic/Antique Car Repair: relay locations, side kick panel, ebay

Question
1964 lincoln cont.4dr I can't find the horn relay ,or the power widow relay. your help would be greatly appreciated.

Answer
The horn relay should be on the left front under the hood, behind the left headlight somewhere on the inside of the metal cross-piece which holds the radiator in place.  It is a rectangular can, about 1" by 2", about 1 1/2" tall, mounted with two screws, with 3 wires attached to it.  It is black.

The power window relay is tougher.  They moved these all over the place over the years.  The two places they liked to use is: behind the left side "kick panel" the upholstered panel that is alongside your left foot as you drive, if it is not there, it will probably be inside a box mounted behind the left front wheel, with all the AC controls.   My advice is to get a shop manual for the car, if you are going to be maintaining this vehicle.  It will tell you where everything is, and how to fix it!   They run on eBay all the time - just do a search for one.
