Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1960 cadillac model 62, cadillac model, wd 40

Question
Im restoring this car and my power windows wont work. I get a 12 volt reading from the hot wire but no amps? Other words i can ground the wire and get no spark. The manual says theres a circuit breaker somwhere but i cant find it or a book that would tell me where its at can you help me? I just dont wanna tear the inside of the car appart cause the inside is perfect and parts for this car are really hard to find>

Hi  - I would say that the armature in the motors are not getting  the proper voltage if any , I would say you might need to replace them or try to spray some WD-40 into the motor and brushes areas. let it sit and drip for a day than re try it - or even try to hot wire it and see if it will turn over, and some times the switches go bad....>>
