Do you know any mechanics in East LA area that can fix my 79 MGB?

Hi Danny,
I am in Nashville TN but I can tell you how to locate an MG tech in your area. There are British car clubs in almost every major city in the US and I would believe there may be more than one in the LA area. If you look in the Yellow pages for a British car specialist and call them to get the contact number of a MG car club then contact the club to get leads on which shop can be recommended. It sounds backwards to locate a repair shop to find a club to recommend a repair shop but usually club members learn who to go to for repairs and who not to go to. You may find several repair shops in the Yellow pages that specialize in British cars but it may be a gamble that you find one who knows what they are doing and are reputable. A club member is more likely to give you a straight answer.
Another option is to call Moss Motors (just north of LA) at 800-667-7872 and ask if they could give you number of an MG specialist in your area as they are a major supplier of MG parts and may know a reputable shop in your area.
That's my opinion.
