Classic/Antique Car Repair: Electrical, brake light switch, chevy c

Question
I have a 64 Chevy C-10 that is having huge issues with the brake lights not turning on as well as the blinkers not working at all when the headlights are on. I started with checking all of the wiring and found severe decay of the wiring, decided to replace the entire electrical with a kit from Painless A-Z is new. Made it through that, replaced head light switch and turn signal assebely and am still having the same problem. Any suggestions? I am at my wits end.

HI - did you check and clean or replace all of the sockets with somwe new ones as they might be all coroded. and with the wire kit I would solder the wires together as the crimp on type will get coroded and have loose or bad conections. than tape them up good or use tube shrink wrap. and how are the flasher units. and all of the bubs. I would do one wire at a time  this way you get one at a time working  check the brake light switch also. all it takes is one bad wore or ground to do things like that. clean off all ground wires too,
