Control Assembly
QUESTION: Model 12f802
Type 1328
4 stroke engine.
Victa lawnmover
When I push on the lever control on the handle bar it does not move the assembly just above the carburettor like it should. I can manually move this assemly which moves a vertical shaft inside the carburettor.

As  a result I have no acceleration with the lawm mover.
In affect pushing on the lever control does nothing.

The carburettor was cleaned and I do not know how to put the control assembly back to together again. See picture.

Thanks for your service.

ANSWER: Hello Anthony:

>>The Rod that is Shown Disconnected is Usually Connected as the Carburetor is Being Re-Attached to the Engine. The S-Style Connectins are Common on Most Small Engines and Usually give a Small Engine Novice a Fit when it Comes to Hooking up this Style Linkage.
>>You can View a Breakdown/IPL of this Engine at this Site Addy, http://www.smallenginepartswarehouse.com/parts.asp and Select the Shop Online Parts Look Up. Then Select the Model Tab. Then Select the OEM and Enter the Model (5 or 6 Digits) and Type Numbers (first 4 digits Only). Example: 12f802-1328. Then Double Click on the Model in the Results Area. Select Sectional Index. Now you can Select the Section of the Engine you Wish to View.

Stop Position
QUESTION: Attached is my 2nd image.

Answer
Hi Anthony:

>>It is Definitely the Shield Lock that is Missing and Causing your Problem. It is Supposed to be Attached the Engine Blower Housing.
At the Site Addy I Provided it is Shown in the Controls, Fuel Supply, Governor Spring File and is Number 265A in the Breakdown (Clamp-Casing).
>>Put the Case Lock (Clamp-Casing) on the Engine to Hold the Throttle Shield and then Set the Throttle to Stop and Set the Carburetor Control to the Stop Position and then Lock the Shield Clamp Down and you will be Good to Go.
