Classic/Antique Car Repair: Electric Choke Wiring, fuse box, raido

Question
Greetings!

1968 Cutlass 350 with retrofitted electric choke.  I am wondering the best way to wire this choke up.  I have tested it off the car with a +12v source and it does indeed work very well.  I know it has to be wired to an ignition source so that it is only activated when the car is on.

I have been told to hook it directly up to the ignition switch (with inline fuse perhaps) but have not been told exactly how to hook it up to the ignition switch.  My ignition does not have the "threaded rods" on the back of it but just five plugins for wires.  I currently have the choke wire "jammed" into one of the plugins for testing purposes but would not feel comfortable leaving it like this for daily operations, even with an in-line fuse.  Perhaps I'm being too cautious and this is an acceptable way to wire it up.

I have also heard of wiring it up to the fuse box somehow or even splicing into the wiper motor wiring which supplies +12v only with the car on.

Just looking for the best and SAFEST way to wire this up.

Thanks,

hi
well its no big deal, you can go to the fuse box and find a lead that is hot only when the key is on, than you can get a crimp on type plug and just plug it in with a fuse in line or you can use a fuse wite a plug in adaptor so it will work off the same fuse. like the wipers, raido, fan, etc. ok
