Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1960 corvette headlights, soda mix, battery terms


Question
i have a 1960 corvette and i just replaced all the high beam and low beam headlamps. the problem is that when i turn the high beam on the passenger side is off completely and on the driver's side they are both on. what could be wrong? do you thinkit is the wiring? another question is have is that i just replaced the battery and sometimes the car won't start and then at other times it will start. can it be electrical? thanks, liz

hi  well you might have to clean the battery terms off real good. and with the bulbs you might have some oxadation on the clips that go to the battery so clean them off with some baking soda mix with warm water clean them off good than try to wipe them off with steel wool than dry them off that should helo. also check for any broken or rotten wires .ok....>>>><>
